    The Regis College women’s basketball team’s historic season came to an end in the NCAA First Round as the #7 nationally-ranked Tufts University Jumbos defeated the Crimson and Gold 61-49 Friday evening. The victory moved Tufts to 24-3 and the setback ends the Pride’s season at 24-4.

Head Coach Angela Santa Fe was named the NECC Coach of the Year for the third-straight season after leading the Pride to another 18-0 NECC regular season and the program's fourth-straight NECC Championship.

    Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.) tallied a double-double, 17 points and 11 rebounds as the #10 regionally-ranked Regis College women’s basketball team defeated Elms College 60-40 in the New England Collegiate Conference Semifinals Friday night on Higgins Court in front of a sold out crowd. The victory propelled the #1 ranked Pride to their fourth straight NECC title game and a 23-3 record; the loss ended the #4 Blazers campaign at 15-12.
