WESTON, Mass. – Regis College sophomore forward Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week while teammate Chayla Louro (Randolph, Mass.) was named the NECC Rookie of the Week it was announced on Monday afternoon.

Stone had the best two game stretch of her collegiate career this past week. She averaged 32.5 points on

23-of-27 (85.2%) shooting, with 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks in 26.5 minutes of play during two Pride victories. The sophomore forward also went 19-of-20 (95%) from the charity stripe. Against Lesley, Stone set the program's single game scoring record with 37 points on 14-of-16 (87.5%) shooting in 20 minutes of play. She continued her post presence at Southern Vermont in the season finale with a game-high 28 points and 11 rebounds en route to her 10th double-double of the season.

Louro played in two games for the Crimson and Gold. During the Pride's 122-52 victory over Lesley on Tuesday, the freshman sharpshooter came off the bench to score a career-high 26 points on 9-of-13 (69.2%) shooting. Louro set the program record for most 3pt conversions in a single game with eight as she went 8-of-12 (66.7%) from downtown.

Regis returns to the court on Friday when they host the winner of the Southern Vermont/Elms contest in the NECC Semifinals at 6:00 p.m.
