WESTON, Mass. – Regis College sophomore forward Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.) has been named to the New England Women's Basketball Association's (NEWBA) Weekly Honor Roll it was announced on Monday afternoon.

Stone was a crucial cog of Regis' 2-1 record last week. For the second time this season, Stone averaged a double-double; 18.3 points and 10 rebounds over a three game stretch. The sophomore forward converted 67.6% (25-of-37) of her field goal attempts and averaged 3.0 blocks a game. Her best game of the week came on Saturday against Newbury when she chalked up 20 points on 8-of-11 (72.7%) shooting, grabbed 10 caroms and blocked two shots in the 85-55 Pride victory.

Regis returns to the hardwood on Wednesday when they travel to Becker for an NECC tilt with tip-off slated for 7:00 p.m.
