Weston,Mass.—The Regis College men’s track and field team recently announced commitments for the 2011-12 fall and spring season.

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College Outdoor Track and Field Team completed its 2011 outdoor regular season at the Brown Invitational this past Sunday (Apr.30). The squad finished strong, notching up some school and personal bests.

Cambridge, Mass.--The Regis College Outdoor Track & Field team travelled to compete in the MIT Spring Invite. Even with tough conditions, the day boasted two new men’s records and several personal bests as the track athletes round into peak shape.

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College Athletic Department is proud to announce the student athlete of the week. Adam Heathman (Newbury, Vt./Oxbow) was selected for his top performance in the Pride Classic this past Saturday (Apr. 9)

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College track team hosted the first home meet of the season Saturday (Apr. 9). The Pride Classic was an open event that included five collegiate teams and fifteen independent athletes. The following collegiate institutions competed at the classic, Emmanuel College, Lesley University, Lasell College, Northern Essex Community College, and Saint Joseph’s College.

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College track team will host the Regis Pride Classic in its first home event of the spring season Saturday (Apr. 9). The event will feature seven track and field teams from the New England area and open competitors.

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College Athletic Department is proud to announce the student athlete of the week. Adam Heathman (Newbury, Vt./Oxbow) of the men’s track and field team was selected as the student athlete of the week for his strong performance this past weekend at the Tufts University Invitational. Heathman has competed at a high level all season, breaking school records and qualifying for the Division III Track and Field Championships.

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College track and field team competed in their final regular-season meet of the year Saturday (Feb. 12). The Pride travelled to Tufts University for the third time this winter. The runners, jumpers, and throwers capped off their seasons with the best performances of the year.

Weston, Mass.— The Regis College Indoor Track & Field squad traveled to Medford, Massachusetts Saturday (Feb. 3) to compete at Tufts University. Hitting the peak of their season the team notched several personal bests to add to their already successful season.

Travelling with a small contingent of select athletes this weekend, the Regis College Track & Field Team competed at the Boston University Terrier Invitational.

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College men’s and women’s track teams competed this past weekend at the Wesleyan Invitational. The Pride competed in their second meet since returning from break. With this at hand the Pride continued to rack up seasonal bests and broke personal and school records.

Weston,Mass.—The Regis College track and field team competed in their first meet of the second semester. The Pride picked up right where they left off before the break. With two weeks of double-sessions under its belt. The Pride was poised to use the meet as a hard training session and did not hesitate to post several solid performances.

Weston, Mass-- The Regis College Track and Field team has grown positively over the past few seasons. This growth can be seen by athletes competing in new events. This is the first season in which the Pride will compete in the shot-put. The Pride is led by the duo of Bobby Ryan (Reading, Mass./Reading) and Nathan Fagundo (Newton, Mass./Boston Trinity Academy). Competing in his second season with the squad Fagundo is a senior that brings knowledge and experience to the team. Ryan is a freshman that has brought both his passion and competitive personality to the Pride in hopes of being the best at his event.

WESTON, Mass.—In the first meet of the season, mid-distance sprinter Adam Heathman (Newbury, Vt./Oxbow) posted qualifying marks in the 500-meter dash for both the Division III Indoor New England and Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships. Heathman ran a qualifying time of 1:08.23.

BOSTON, Mass.—Competing in their final meet of the fall semester, the Regis College Indoor Track & Field Team travelled to Harvard University for a long and lengthy contest. In spite of the long wait between events, the team stayed focused and performed just as well as they did in their inaugural meet of the year.

Weston, Mass. -- The Regis College Indoor Track & Field Team competed in their season opener this weekend at the Reggie Lewis Track Center. The Pride wasted no time setting school records and qualifying two athletes for the Indoor Division III New England Track and Field Championships.
