REGIS TRACK TO HOST PRIDE CLASSIC

Weston, Mass.—The Regis College track team will host the Regis Pride Classic in its first home event of the spring season Saturday (Apr. 9).  The event will feature seven track and field teams from the New England area and open competitors.

The meet will open with the field events first starting at 10:00 a.m.  The first event of the day will be the hammer throw, followed by the shot put.  Jump and pole events will start at the conclusion of the shot put.  Discus, Javelin, and men's pole vault will conclude the field events for the morning.

The track events are scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. The first event of the day for track will be the steeple chase.  Following this event the relay, hurdles, and metered sprint events will start. Below is the schedule for the meet.

Pole Vault Women

 *Due to space limitations, Hammer will have a designated viewing area

**Men and women will be using 2 different runways for the long and triple jumps

 12 p.m. Discus Men followed by Women

All events will be run women, then men. All races will be run fast to slow. Event schedule will be on a rolling start
