Indoor Season Concludes at New England Championships

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The 2019-20 indoor track and field season wrapped up Saturday for Regis College, as three members of the Pride competed at the Division III New England Indoor Track and Field Championships, including two Regis women participating in the meet hosted by Middlebury College.

In the 400 meter dash, Olivia Juneau (Wakefield, Mass.) finished second in her heat and 19th overall with a time of 1:02.57. Meanwhile, Ashleigh Kelley (Stoneham, Mass.) completed the 1000 meter run in a time of 3:19.33.

At the Men's Division III New England Indoor Track and Field Championships at Springfield College, Cole Anderson (Falmouth, Maine) participated in the weight throw. His top mark of the day came on his first attempt, as he posted a throw of 13.55 meters (44' 5.5") to finish in 21st place overall in the event.

The Regis College track and field team will start preparing for the outdoor season after Spring Break, with the first meet taking place Saturday, March 28, at Tufts University in Medford, Mass. The following week, the Pride will host the Regis Spring Classic at Regis Stadium Friday, April 3, beginning at 3 p.m.
