Sophomore Tori Rapsis (Nashua, N.H.) qualified in the pole vault for her third straight Division III New England Track & Field Championship. Rapsis tied her school record of 9' 6 ¼" in the process. She achieved the qualifying mark on the first try placing 5^th out of 16 athletes in the event. Co-Captain Anyah Hernandez (Brookline, Mass.) posted the other top mark for the women's team by competing in the 55-meter dash. Her time of 8.10s placed her as the 5^th fastest woman in Regis College History.

On the Men's side freshmen Carlos Romer (Boston, Mass.) and Alex Tran (Lawrence, Mass.) both sped to personal bests at the MIT Invitational. Chandler Davies (Hartford, Conn.), Jeremy Israel (Medfield, Mass.) and Ryan Manning (Hanover, Mass.) raced to chart-topping times in their events at the Valentine's Invitational.

Israel registered his second ECAC qualifying mark with a 50.61s performance in the 400-meter dash. The time breaks his own school record, and currently ranks him 20^th entering into the Division III Indoor New England Champion ship taking place this weekend.

Fellow sprinters Davies and Manning dropped down in distance, running almost identical times in the 200-meter dash. Davies' 23.53s ties Israel's comparable time set the week before for the 2^nd fastest indoor 200 in Regis Men's history. Meanwhile, Manning's time of 23.58s stands as an all-time personal best, and only his 2^nd foray past the 24s barrier.

The Division III New England Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place this weekend, with Israel travelling to Springfield College and Rapsis to Smith College.
