As a freshman:
Indoors: Set school record in the 600-meter run with 1.30.80min at Tufts Invite (1/15/11). Running unattached, ran new personal best in the 800meter with 2:05.70m at BU Terrier Classic (1/29/11); currently holds school record within the event.

Outdoors: Red-shirted season, running unattached. Ran personal best in 1500meter run with 4:35.69m at Regis home meet (4/9/11).

High School: Lucas is a long sprinter specialist. Has personal best times of 39s and 1 minute, 28 seconds in the 300 and 600 respectively, times that led his high school squad in both events during his senior year. Competed the 2010 Indoor Nike High School Meet as a member of the 4 x 400 relay team. Senior year, competed in the Division IV Mass Indoor State Track & Field Championships in the 600 meters (placing 13th); member of the 4x400meter relay team that placed 4th in the same meet. Played baseball during the Spring season while in high school

Personal:  Lucas is a freshman Nursing major from Framingham Massachusetts. He is the son of Dennis McCann and Diane Chalmers. Lucas has one sibling Jaclyn McCann.  His life goal is to be the best he can be.
