HEATHMAN ADDS SPEED TO TRACK TEAM

Weston, Mass.—A specialist in the 100 and 200-meter dash for Oxbow High School, Adam Heathman (Bradford, Vt.) was announced as joining the Regis College men’s track and field team by head coach Christine Kloiber recently.

Having set personal bests times of 11.69 and 23.65 respectively, which were set in his junior year at Oxbow, Heathman will look to improve that pace as a member of the Regis men’s team. His times ranked him 13th and 11th in the 100 and 200 in the state respectively.

At the Vermont Outdoor Track and Field games Heathman placed in three events during his sophomore and junior seasons. “Heathman will be a great addition,” said Kloiber.

“He will join a growing squad of sprinters to form solid relay teams,” she continued.

The Regis College team recently competed in the Division III New England Championships, and will look to expand upon its current group of participants with the addition of Heathman.
