REGIS COLLEGE SWIMMING AND DIVING TEAM TO HOLD PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS

WESTON, MASS.—The Regis College swimming and diving team recently announced that it would offer private swimming lessons each Friday beginning September 10 at Regis College. The lessons cost $125 per child age 3 and above, and members of the Regis College swimming and diving program will conduct the individualized lessons.

10 individual records and 4 relay records were broken this past weekend at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championships in White River Junction, VT. Freshman Andy Laforest broke four individual records, Stephen McGovern broke three, Ben Perry broke two, and Nick Yerzyk broke one.

CHICOPEE, Mass. – Elms College freshman Tessa Dudunake (Northampton, Mass.) earned three first place finishes and shattered a pair of school records, while sophomore Zach LeBarron (Bennington, V.T.) set a new school record and tied another to help lift the Blazers to a sweep of Regis College in Saturday morning’s men’s and women’s swimming dual meet at Partyka Natatorium.

Weston, Mass.—Senior captain Ben Perry and freshman Andy Laforest each had a hand in the six records that the Regis men set at this weekend's TCCC invitational. Perry finished 11th in the 200-yard individual medley with a Regis College record time of 2-minutes, 20.20 seconds. He also set the 400 IM record with a fourth place finish of 4:58.51.

Weston, Mass. Regis College freshman Christina Estrada (Bellingham, MA) placed first in the 500-yard freestyle, second in the 200 free, and fourth in the 50 breaststroke at the annual Regis Invitational.
