TEAM EFFORT LIFTS PRIDE OVER GORDON

 Weston, Mass.‑‑It was a team effort that allowed the Regis College men's swim team to swim past Gordon College.  The Pride was victorious in all but two events Wednesday evening. 

Junior Ben Perry and freshmen Andy Laforest and Stephen McGovern all won three individual events and were members of Regis' winning 200 medley relay as the Pride charged past Gordon for an away victory.  Nick Yerzyk also contributed to the winning medley relay.

Perry's victories came in the 50 and 100 backstrokes, as well as the 500 freestyle.  Laforest captured the 50, 100, and 200 freestyles with season best times.  McGovern turned in winning performances in the 50 and 100 breaststrokes, as well as the 100 individual medley.  The other individual win was captured by Yerzyk in the 50 butterfly.  Overall, the Regis men captured 10 of the 12 events on the evening.

Regis College is away on Saturday to compete against College Sawyer College at 1pm.
