Weston, Mass.???Regis College freshman Christina Estrada (Bellingham, MA) placed first in the 500-yard freestyle, second in the 200 free, and fourth in the 50 breaststroke at the annual Regis Invitational.  The University of New England, Mount Holyoke College, Simmons College, Plymouth State University, and Husson University also participated in the all women swimming tradition.

Estrada was Regis' high point scorer for this meet, capturing the 200 freestyle in a season best time of 2:06.23.  Just getting out touched by UNE's Alison Leopard in the 500 freestyle, Christina swam another season best in 5:40.72 putting her second.  She also led off the Pride's 200 freestyle relay team which included Megan Pratt, Melinda Labranche (Milton, MA), and Melissa Moore (Dedham, MA).  They placed eighth overall with a time of 1:56.93.

Regis, 0-3, is off until an away meet against St Joseph's College Maine November 21.
