PRIDE MEN BREAK SEVEN RECORDS

Weston, Mass.-Sophomore Ben Perry (Chicopee, Mass.) scored the teams only points with a 12th place finish in the 200 yard backstroke, which he also set one of the teams seven records.

Perry would also break his own record in the 200, as well as in the 100 backstroke. Teammate Mick Moriarty (Waterbury, CT) would break his own records in the 50 fly and 100 freestyle over the weekend.

Freshman Matteo bon Tempo (Milford, Mass.) broke his personal best times in all three breaststroke events (50, 100, and 200). "I told him all along he had a 1:07 in him," said head coach Michael Kotch.

Tempo finished with a 1:07.29 in the 100 breaststroke.

Considering its just the men's second appearance in the New England Invitational Swimming and Diving Association meet, "It's a good indicator the rebirth of dominance has begun," said Kotch.
