Richardson played lacrosse at Santiago High School in Corona, Calif. He was named the team's offensive MVP twice. An honor roll student, he graduated with high honors.

Richardson participated in club lacrosse for Buku Lacrosse and 3D Lacrosse. He led his team to a tournament championship.

Richardson's parents are Colleen Richardson, Mike Richardson, and Tina Richardson. He has three sisters named Payton, Maddie, and Makenzie. Graduated with bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology.
