Regis men’s lacrosse had its first varsity season in 2009-10, after having been a club team.
The team competed in an independent schedule in 2011 before joining the Pilgrim Lacrosse League in 2012. In 2013, the team also joined the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) and played a dual-league schedule. In 2014, the program participated in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament, marking the program's first postseason bid.
The squad's 13-4 mark in 2016 was the best record in program history and led to the Pride's first NECC Championship. The team repeated as NECC Champions in 2017, the team's final season in the conference.
