    Becker College scored five goals in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter to erase an 8-3 deficit, and Avyay Chaganty (Bridgewater, N.J.) scored the game winner 1:09 into overtime to lead the Hawks to a stunning 9-8 victory over Regis College on Saturday afternoon in New England Collegiate Conference men's lacrosse action.

    The Regis College men’s lacrosse team was outscored 7-2 in the second half as the Pride dropped a New England Collegiate Conference match against Mitchell College 13-9 on Saturday afternoon. With the loss the Pride fall to 8-4, 1-1 NECC and with the victory the Mariners improve to 5-7, 3-0 NECC.

With the victory, the Pride improve to 6-1 on the year and with the loss, the Falcons remain win-less at 0-6. The win was the Crimson and Gold’s fourth straight.

With the victory, the Pride improved their record to 4-1 on the year and with the loss Green Mountain remained winless and fell to 0-4.

This season’s schedule will feature eight home games and 13 non-conference opponents. The Pride are looking to build upon last season’s 9-8 mark and the programs first appearance in the ECAC Tournament.
