WINTHROP, Mass. - Senior Brittany Stone (West Bridgewater, Mass.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the fourth time. The announcement came from the GNAC conference office on Monday afternoon.

In a 3-0 week, Stone shot a stellar 71.4% (25-35 FG, 13-18 FT) en route to averaging 21.0 points and 13.3 rebounds. Stone opened the week with one of her strongest performances of the season, scoring 26 points on 10-for-11 shooting to go with 19 rebounds (eight offensive) against Lasell. She followed up with 16 points and 14 boards at Norwich before capping the week with a 21-point, seven-rebound effort against Simmons as the Pride remained perfect (5-0) in GNAC play.

Stone and the rest of the Pride return to the floor on Tuesday night as they host Rivier and hope to remain perfect in GNAC play. The Pride and Raiders will tip off at 6:00 p.m.
