PRIDE RAID RIVIER TO CAPTURE FIRST WINApril 29, 2010Nashua, NH- Regis College seemed to be running circles around Rivier in a 14-0 win for the Prides final game of the year. Regis got the first goal on the board in the first three minutes of the game as Brad Hasting (Mansfield, MA) was able to find the back of the net. The Prides Tim Wells (Weston, MA) had the hot hand early on as he was able to put 4 of his 5 goals in the back of the net in the first half.

Senior Jeff Novak (Killingworth, Conn.), freshman Mark Pappas (Worcester, Mass.), and freshman Mike Sharpe (Needham, Mass.) each tallied three goals as the Wentworth lacrosse team held Regis scoreless over the final 35:35, en route to a 20-3 win in the regular-season finale played at Sweeney Field.

Led by Luke Biggins' (Sudbury, Mass.) game-high seven points, the Anna Maria College men's lacrosse team defeated Regis 17-6 on a cool Wednesday evening at AMCAT Field. The win improves the AMCATS to 3-4 (0-2 TCCC) while the Pride fall to 0-2 in their inaugural season.
