Regis Lacrosse Joins 2020 Version of Yards for Yeardley Initiative

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College men's and women's lacrosse teams have once again partnered with the One Love Foundation to raise awareness about creating healthy domestic relationships by contributing to the organization's 2020 goal of collecting at least 100 million Yards for Yeardley.

Due to the current situation around the world, One Love has created a virtual movement to gather Yards for Yeardley, a campaign established in honor of former collegiate lacrosse player Yeardley Love. One Love's goal for the month-long campaign is to rally everyone, especially the collegiate lacrosse community, to recruit more people in the movement to change the stats around relationship abuse and create a world where people know how to establish healthy personal relationships.

The Pride lacrosse programs, led by women's lacrosse head coach Courtney Duggan and men's lacrosse head coach Matthew Sweeney, are once again leading the movement at Regis College. The two teams aim to make their contributions to help One Love reach its goal of 100 million Yards for Yeardley between now and May 3, united in a determination to create safer and healthier futures for so many through education about relationship health.
