Marissa Minor joins Regis as the assistant swimming and diving coach for her first season in 2016-2017. The Lisbon, Conn. native is a 2016 graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication.

While at Eastern, Marissa spent two years on the university’s swimming and diving team, where she competed primarily in the 200, 100 and 50 yard butterfly events. Marissa received a number of honors in her two years with the program, winning the Team Award in 2015 before earning spots on the Little East Conference All-Academic  and New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) Division III Academic teams.

Also at Eastern, Marissa completed a communications internship in the university’s sports information department, writing feature articles for the Eastern athletic website.

Prior to her time as a Warrior, Marissa spent two years at the University of Connecticut, where she was a coxswain on Huskies’ rowing team.
