• PRIDE FALLS TO WILDCATS 3-2, IN NECC QUARTERFINALS

    The Regis College women’s volleyball team was defeated Wednesday night at the Bartley Center 3-2 by Bay Path College in NECC quarterfinal playoff action. This was the second meeting of the teams in which they took the match to five sets. Regis won the regular season in five, but tonight the Wildcats prevailed after staging a comeback falling in the first two sets 25-17 and 25-20 and winning the next three 25-19, 25-21 and 15-10.

    The Regis College women’s volleyball team was defeated by Newbury College Wednesday night by the score of 3-2. The Pride moves to 6-15 overall on the season and 2-2 in the NECC. The Nighthawks move to 10-13 overall on the season and 2-1 in the NECC.

    The Regis College women’s volleyball team was defeated Friday night at the Teresa Higgins court by Simmons College by the score of 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-20) The Pride moves to 5-14 on the season, while the visiting Sharks move to 15-4 on the season.

    Junior Chelsey Crawford (Westfield, Mass.) notched a match high 14 kills, junior Samantha Hill (Hudson, N.H.) knocked down six kills and senior Kate-Lynn Breault (Hudson) chipped in with five guiding host Daniel Webster past Regis College, 3-o in the first New England Collegiate Conference match between the two Saturday at Mario Vagge Gymnasium.

    The Regis College women’s volleyball team was defeated by Pine Manor College Wednesday night at the Pine Manor Athletic Center by the score of 3-0 (26-24, 25-19, 25-16). The Pride moves to 4-12 overall on the season, while the Gators move to 9-0 on the season.
