Prep:
Columbus played four seasons each of softball, soccer, and basketball at Gardner High School. She was a captain of all three teams during her senior year as well as captain of the softball team in her junior year. In softball, she was the team's MVP in 2015 and defensive player of the year in 2017, plus she was named to the conference's all-star team in 2018. In 2018, she received the MIAA Student Academic Achievement Award and was named a MIAA Student Ambassador. She was also named her team's defensive player of the year in basketball as a junior and in soccer as a senior.

Club:
Columbus played four years for Rogue Softball, earning Tournament MVP honors in 2017. 

Personal:
Born in Gardner, Mass., Columbus is the oldest daughter of Kate and Ryan Columbus. She has a younger sister named Maegan. She is majoring in nursing.
