Samantha Teves (Somerset, Mass.), Lauren Tierney (Middleboro, Mass.), and Michelle Caprice (Oak Ridge, N.J.) each went 2-4 at the plate against Regis pitcher Kendra Abram (Acushnet, Mass.).

    PAXTON, Mass. – Junior Sarah Boyda (Oxford, Mass.) set the Anna Maria College single season record for steals, which had stood for 28 years, as the AMCATS swept the Pride of Regis College in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference softball doubleheader on Thursday afternoon. The AMCATS took game one 2-1, before earning an 8-6 victory in the night to improve their record to 14-16 (10-6 TCCC), while the Pride fall to 7-24 (4-10 TCCC).

A balanced game for both teams changed drastically after Regis’ Maryssa Allen (Attleboro, Mass.) scored the games first run of the day in the third inning.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott College softball team swept their third straight doubleheader as the Gulls defeated Regis College, 4-0 and 12-4, in a pair of The Commonwealth Coast Conference softball games on Saturday afternoon in Beverly, Mass. Endicott has now won six-straight games to improve to 16-10 overall and 9-5 in the TCCC while the Pride drop to 4-21 overall and 1-7 in conference games.
