WESTON, Mass. – Junior guard Osanto Marc Jr. (Kissimmee, Fla.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week, it was announced by the league on Monday.

Marc registered his first double-double of the season on 18 points and 13 rebounds in a 63-56 setback to Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday night. He shot 50% from the field (7-for-14) and also added one assist in the loss to the Lions. Through six games this season, Marc is averaging 11.5 points per game, 6.2 rebounds per game, and 1.5 assists per game.

Regis (1-5) will open up NECC play tomorrow with an 8 p.m. game on the road at Lesley.
