RYAN CHAMBERS NAMED NECC PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WESTON, Mass.- Regis College men's basketball player Ryan Chambers (Abington Mass.) was named New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week. Chambers currently leads the Pride in points per game averaging 13.4 and is tied for team high in steals averaging 1.1 per game.

Chambers led the Pride to two victories this past week in games against Wheelock College and Daniel Webster College. In the two games, Chambers averaged 22.0 points per game with strong performances in both contests. Against the Eagles, Chambers tallied a career high 27 points and went 5-of-8 in three-point shots attempted. In the victory against the Wildcats Chambers tallied 17 points and went 3-of-5 from behind the arc. This solid showing from behind the three-point line left Chambers shooting an average of 61.5% for the week, also a team high.

Chambers will look to lead the Pride to its third straight conference victory when Regis hosts Wheelock College Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
