Weston, Mass.—After two outstanding games by freshman Robert Edwards (Idaho Falls, Idaho), The Commonwealth Coast Conference office announced Edwards as its TCCC Rookie of the Week Monday.

Edwards averaged a team best 19.5 points over two games, while averaging 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks. To add to his impressive week, he shot a blistering 77% from the field (17-of-22) in a pair of TCCC victories that extended the Pride's winning streak to four.

Edwards opened the week with 28 points on 12-of-14 shooting, three rebounds and three blocks in the Pride's 79-64 win over New England College.  He followed with 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in a 90-77 triumph at Eastern Nazarene.

This was Edwards' first acknowledgement as rookie of the week by the TCCC.
