As a sophomore:
Scored a season-high 21 points against Westfield State (12/11/09)...he shot 90% from the free-throw line.

As a freshman:
Gomes appeared in 23 games this season, with a start in 5 of them. He shot 38 percent from the field, was 69 percent from the free throw line. He grabbed 2.6 rebounds per game, dished out 19 assist, and had 36 steals on the season. Gomes averaged 7.1 points per game…on four occasions Gomes obtained the game-high including a 21 point performance against Nichols College.

High School:
Gomes was a two sport athlete in both basketball and football. He was the recipient of the team MVP for basketball and received the coach’s award for football.

Personal:
Ta’Keame likes to eat, sleep, play basketball, and just hang out. His life goals are to have a happy life, have a happy family, and always be involved in sports. His favorite pro athlete is Joe Johnson, and favorite team are the Atlanta Hawks. His favorite food is soul food, and favorite quote is “if you put in the work, the results will come”. He has 3 siblings, Cotyia, Sherise, and Nikeisha…also the son to Patricia Gomes and Michael Keel.
