Ashley Reid joins the Regis coaching staff for her first season as an assistant coach on the field hockey and softball squads in the fall of 2016. The Enfield, Conn. native comes to Regis having graduated from NECC foe Elms College in May 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in sport management.

After a four-year field hockey career at Elms, she joined the team’s staff as an assistant coach in 2015. At the same time, Ashley was the head coach of the field hockey team at John F. Kennedy Middle School in Enfield, Conn.

As a player, Ashley was named to the NECC All-Conference and All-Tournament teams each of her final three seasons, while garnering NECC Honorable Mention award as a freshman. The defender tallied two goals and five assists to go along with 19 defensive saves in 73 career games for the Blazers.

On the diamond, Ashley spent two years with the Elms softball team. As a senior, the outfielder helped lead her team to an NECC title.

Ashley served as the head coach of the junior varsity softball team and varsity assistant coach at Windsor Locks High School in Windsor Locks, Conn. for three seasons prior to Regis. In addition, she was an assistant coach on the Connecticut Tigers Travel Softball U-16 team.

Ashley graduated from Enrico Fermi High School in Enfield, Conn. in 2011.
