Virtual Regis Fun Run/Walk Set for May 2

Virtual Regis Fun Run/Walk Set for May 2

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College athletic department, in conjunction with the Regis Office of Institutional Advancement, invites everyone to take part in the Regis Fun Run/Walk, taking place virtually this Saturday, May 2.

Starting at 10 a.m., Kourtney Bonsey, head coach of the Regis cross country and track & field teams, will lead all participants in a virtual stretch over Zoom. Everyone will then be encouraged to go on a socially-distant run or walk around their neighborhood or on their treadmill.

This fun run/walk was scheduled to take place as a part of Reunion Weekend on campus, but the current situation forced the adjustment to a virtual event. All registrants are encouraged to submit videos and photos to their social media accounts using #KeepRegisMoving or by emailing alumni@regiscollege.edu.

Prizes will be awarded to the top participants in the following categories: longest distance traveled, fastest mile by a runner, fastest mile by a walker, the class year with the most participants, most school spirit, best photo of the view during the run/walk, and most outrageous outfit. Everyone is also encouraged to show their Regis pride by wearing Pride gear.
