WINTHROP, Mass. - Junior Caroline Fuentes (Downey, Calif.) of the Regis (Mass.) women's volleyball team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference Libero of the Week. The award marks the first time ever that a player from the Pride has won a GNAC volleyball weekly honor.

Fuentes chipped in both offensively and defensively to lead the Pride to a 2-2 week. Fuentes’ week included a big day from the service line in a win over New England College on Wednesday that saw her record a season-high five service aces. She averaged 0.54 aces and 1.38 digs per set on the week. 

Fuentes and the Pride continue their lengthy homestand this week with three matches at Higgins Court. The week kicks off for Regis on Wednesday night, as the Prides hosts Norwich University at 7:00 p.m.
