Set one saw the Pride trail early but come on midway through to take the early match lead. A Sydney Trusty (Durham, Conn.) kill capped a 6-1 run to tie the set at 10-10 and the Pride later would go up by three points. Daniel Webster rallied and would take a three-point lead of its own but Regis reeled off a 9-2 run to finish the set.

It would take extra points for Regis to grab the set two win. The Pride led comfortably midway through but five straight Eagle points tied the score at 16-16. Regis would again go up by three only to see Daniel Webster take a 21-20 lead on a Hoffman ace. Down the stretch through it were kills from Kayla Nystedt (Onamia, Minn.) and Shay Faber (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) that sealed the win.

Regis grabbed an early lead in set three and, despite a few Daniel Webster runs, never trailed to complete the sweep.

Regis next takes the court hosting a tri-match at Regis Fest on Saturday, Oct. 15. The Pride face Southern Vermont at 11:00 a.m. and Dean College at 3:00 p.m. DWC hosts a tri-match of its own this Friday, playing Green Mountain (4:00 p.m.) and Dean (7:30 p.m.).
