REGIS TRAVELS TO MIT FOR NCAA FIRST ROUND

WESTON, Mass. – The 2015 New England Collegiate Conference Champion Regis College women's volleyball team will travel to MIT on Friday night for the First Round of the NCAA Tournament at 8:00 p.m.

The Pride are playing in a bracket featuring Babson, Roger Williams, Bowdoin, UMass Boston, Amherst, and Johnson & Wales. Game times and the schedule for the day can be found on the Tournament home page.

Regis is making its second-straight NCAA Tournament after capturing the program's second NECC Championship this past weekend. The Pride sit at 22-10 overall and have won nine-straight matches dating back to October 9, winning 14-of-15 since their last meeting with MIT on September 26.

The Pride dropped a 3-0 decision to the Engineers by set scores of 25-11, 25-9, and 25-13. On that day, 2015 NECC Rookie of the Year Rachel Bartels (Edinburg, Texas) and Emily DeBarros (Brockton, Mass.) posted three kills apiece, while Sydney Trusty (Durham, Conn.) and Haley Schulte (Fullerton, Calif.) each added two kills apiece.
