PRIDE SPLIT ON FRIDAY NIGHT IN NASHUA

NASHUA, N.H. - The Regis College women's volleyball team stayed perfect in New England Collegiate Conference with a 3-2 win over Daniel Webster College on Friday night in Nashua, N.H. The Pride (13-10, 2-0 NECC) dropped a 3-0 decision to Western Connecticut State University in their second match of the day.

In the win over the Eagles, Graciella Molinari (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) led the Pride attack with 16 kills, nine digs, and , while Sydney Trusty (Durham, Conn.) added 12 kills and 17 digs. Nicole Connolly (San Mateo, Calif.) posted eight kills and 11 digs, with Haley Schulte (Fullerton, Calif.) chipping in six kills and 13 digs.

Crystina Lathrop (Houston, Texas) had a double-double with 39 assists and 17 digs. Caroline Fuentes (Downey, Calif.) nailed three service aces and added 14 digs.

Connolly was the leader against Western Connecticut as the sophomore had five kills and five digs. Trusty, Molinari, and Rachel Bartels (Edinburg, Texas) added four kills apiece, while Haley Schulte posted a double-double with 11 assists and 12 digs. Emma Morales (San Juan, Puerto Rico) added nine digs.

The Crimson and Gold return to action on Wednesday night when the Pride hosts Elms College in an NECC match at 7:00 p.m.
