WESTON, Mass. – Regis College sophomore Kristina del Rey (Miami, Fla.) has been named this week's New England Collegiate Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week, while teammate Gracie Molinari (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) has been named the Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday morning.

This is the first time del Rey has received the honor this season, while Molinari earned rookie honors for a third time.

del Ray led Regis to the NECC championship by being named the Championship Tournament MVP. In the championship match she posted 14 kills, eight digs, and three blocks in the 3-1 win over Newbury. In the

Pride's semi-final 3-0 victory over Daniel Webster, del Ray hit .400 with six kills, a dig and a block assist.

Molinari was named to the All-Tournament Team while posting 13 kills and adding five digs in a 3-0 win during the semi-finals, and she wrapped up the week with 17 kills in the NECC Championship 3-1 win over Newbury.

Regis wrapped up the season with its first NECC Championship in program history, while finishing undefeated in conference play (10-0) and earning a program best 24 wins. The Pride have earned an automatic bid into next week's NCAA Tournament, with the selection show scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on NCAA.com.
