VOLLEYBALL VOLUNTEERS AT BREAST CANCER WALK

VOLLEYBALL VOLUNTEERS AT BREAST CANCER WALK

WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College volleyball program, alongside other Pride athletic programs and Regis college students, took part in the six mile Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk in Boston on Sunday, October 5th.

The Women's and Men's volleyball teams took strides together to stand up against breast cancer, joining 40,000 walkers. The teams walked up the Boston side of the Charles River from the Hatch Shell to the BU Bridge and then down the Cambridge side crossing back over on the Longfellow Bridge.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (MSABC) is the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting more than 300 communities to finish the fight. Every breast cancer walk and event is an incredible and inspiring opportunity to honor those who have battled breast cancer, raise awareness about what we can do to reduce our breast cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease with research, information, services, and access to mammograms for women who need them.
