WESTON, Mass. – A season after making its first ever New England Collegiate Conference Championship match appearance, the Regis College women's volleyball team has announced its schedule for the 2013 campaign.

The Pride open 2013 the same way they have since the 2005 season, hosting the annual Pride Invitational. This year's entries include WPI, Mount Ida, MIT, Rivier and Eastern Nazarene College and the Invitational will take place on August 30 and 31.

Regis will take on Eastern Nazarene here in Weston, Mass. to open the month of September before heading out on the road for its next six dates of competition. The Pride will take part in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational for the second-straight year and will face UMass Dartmouth, Eastern Nazarene, and Framingham State.

Following a September 12 meeting with Bridgewater State, the Pride will participate in the MIT Invitational held on September 13 and 14. The Pride wrap up the 10 day road trip with a match at Lasell on September 16.

Regis returns home on September 19 with a match versus the University of Southern Maine and then travels to Wentworth for a tri-match against the Leopards and Mass. Maritime. The Pride take on another former CCC foe on September 26 when Regis welcomes Gordon College for a non-league match.

In a rematch of the 2012 NECC Championship, Regis opens up NECC play with a conference match against Southern Vermont College on Saturday, September 28. The Pride follow that up with a home league match against Bay Path College to open the month of October.

The Pride play in their third invitational of the year during the weekend of October 4, traveling to Johnson & Wales for a series of games. Regis returns to NECC play the following week, hosting Elms on Wednesday and traveling to Daniel Webster the following Saturday for a 12:00 p.m. match.

Regis wraps up the season trading home and road games for the final two weeks, hosting Becker and Lesley University and going on the road to take on Mitchell and Newbury. The Pride took on both the Mariners and Nighthawks in the NECC Tournament a year ago.

The NECC First Round begins on October 29 with the Semifinal and Championship matches held on the first two days in November at the highest remaining seed.
