LEICESTER, Mass. – Sophomore outside hitter Samantha Bliss (Framingham, Mass.) recorded ten kills and four service aces to lead Regis to a 3-0 win over host Becker in NECC women's volleyball action Tuesday evening at the Leicester Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-10, 25-15, 25-13 in favor of the Pride.

Regis is now 9-16 with a 2-3 record against conference opponents while the Hawks of Becker drop to 2-19 and 0-4 in the NECC standings.

Bliss also contributed eight digs on the night. Junior middle hitter Vanessa Noesi (Puerto Plata, D.R.) was a dominant force at the net with nine kills and a .643 kill percentage, to go along with three solo blocks and two block assists. Sophomore outside hitter Olivia Foley (Andover, Mass.) added seven kills and six digs. Sophomore setter Marilia Ramos (Chimbote, Peru) finished with 24 assists and six service aces, both match-highs. Sophomore defensive specialist Sara Casullo (Little Falls, N.Y.) had a match-high 12 digs.

For the Hawks, junior outside hitter Katelyn Burns (Fall River, Mass.) finished with five kills and 11 digs while freshman outside hitter Alexandra Berthaut (Manchester, Conn.) had four kills and eight digs. Senior setter Joanna Slomiak (Brockton, Mass.) had 11 digs and four assists, while sophomore setterLauren LaVallee (Millbury, Mass.) ended the evening with nine assists.

Regis travels to Elms on Saturday for a 12:00 p.m. contest. Becker is back on the court when they host Newbury in an NECC match on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
