CHARGERS DEFEAT PRIDE 3-0
 Weston, Mass.—The Regis College women's volleyball team was defeated by Colby Sawyer College Saturday (Oct.30) by the score of 3-0. The Pride moves to 9-24 overall on the season and are 3-7 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference. The visiting Chargers improve to 18-13 overall on the season and are 8-2 in TCCC play.

The first match was won by the Chargers who were led by Courtney O'Hara (Mystic, Conn. /Fitch Senior High School).  O'Hara started the match with three key serves.  Michelle Doody (Franklin, Mass. /Franklin High School) played strong offensively in the first match registering 10 kills. The Pride was led by freshman Angelica Endara (Boca Raton, Fla. /Boca Raton) who tallied 11 kills and 11 digs on the game.

The second match was won by the Chargers who continued with the strong play of Doody and Stef Turner (Boxborough, Mass. /Acton-Boxborough Regional).  The Pride received a pair of aces from senior Meghan McCarty (Billerica, Mass. /Billerica Memorial) near the end of the match but the Chargers held on to the lead winning 25-13.

In the third match the Chargers were guided by Kristin Sawyer (Walpole, Mass. /Norfolk County) who finished the game with a team high 30 assists. The Pride was led by senior Randi Garrity (Reading, Mass. /Reading Memorial) who tallied a team high 18 assists. The Chargers were able to win the match 25-15 and win the game 3-0.
