Weston, Mass. –The Regis College women's volleyball team lost to Norwich University Saturday (Sept. 11) by the score of 3-0. Norwich defeated the Pride in the first two sets, 25-11 and 25-16, before winning the third set by only three points, 25-22.

The Pride was lead by Senior Meghan McCarty (Billerica, Mass./Billerica ) who registered a team high six kills in the match. Randi Garrity (Reading, Mass./Reading Memorial) registered a team high 15 assists for the Pride. This was game two of a double header for the Pride, who defeated Lesley University earlier in the day 3-1.

For the Cadets junior April Byllaardt (Stormville, NY./Carmel) led the team in points  registering 10 kills, five service aces and six digs. Junior Brittany Palmer (York, Pa./West York) had seven kills, two service aces and five digs, while Rice posted 22 assists, four service aces and five digs.

The next game for the Pride is Friday, (Sept. 17) against Becker College at 7:00 pm. The Cadets next contest is against Middlebury on Wednesday, (Sept. 15) at 7:00 pm.
