ENDARA JOINS WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM

Weston, Mass.—Julie Endara (Boca Raton, Fla./Boca Raton High) was announced as an incoming Regis College women’s volleyball player by assistant coach Marriah Vengroff recently.

“Julie is an excellent all-around player,” commented Vengroff. “She plays multiple positions, and is a true athlete.”

Endara will join the team having played for several Florida club programs, including two years on the Tribe Volleyball 18-A team. In four years of playing for Boca Raton High Endara was captain of both her junior varsity and varsity teams. As a sophomore she was award the team’s Bobcat Award, the most valuable player honor in her junior, and most improved and the coaches award her senior year.

Outside of playing she has been an assistant coach for the Don Estrigde High Tech Middle School boy’s and girl’s volleyball teams for three years. Endara has one sibling, and is the daughter of Diego and Jeannette Endara.

She would like study secondary education at Regis to later become an English teacher, and hopes to someday coach volleyball.
