Sydney Tribou joins the Regis College men's and women's swimming and diving teams for the first time in 2014. Tribou comes to the Pride after a decorated four year career at the University of New Hampshire. Born and raised in Orlando, Fla., she attended Lake Highland Prepatory School, and swam for Highlander Aquatics before heading to Durham, N.H.

While at UNH, Tribou was a four-time America East All-Conference Team, as well as a Scholar Athlete. The Wildcats won the ECAC Championship in 2010, and Tribou was a part of the 1st place and record-breaking 800 yard freestyle relay team. That relay team also claimed 1st place, set a school and conference record, and qualified for an NCAA provisional cut at the America East Championships in 2010, 2011, and 2013. Tribou received the team's Most Improved Award in 2011-12.

In her final year at UNH, the Wildcats won the America East Championships, with Tribou being a member of the 800 yard freestyle relay team as well as the Individual America East Champion in the 200 yard freestyle.

At the club level, Tribou was a four-time Sunshine State Games qualifier and participant, also qualifying for the Junior Olympics, Long Course Sectionals, Short Course All American, Junior Nationals, Short Course Nationals, and U.S. Open. When she was 16, she was ranked 78th in the nation in the 200-meter freestyle.

Tribou graduated from UNH with a degree in psychology. Last season, she coached for the Oyster River Otters and Crimson Aquatics, while also working several Nike camps.
