Cara Hubster joins the Regis College swimming and diving program as assistant coach starting in the 2024-25 academic year.

Hubster was an assistant coach for all ages and skill levels at Crown Point Swim Club in Crown Point, Ind., from October 2019 to the summer of 2024. She created and implemented training plans for individuals and groups that aided in the achievement of personal and seasonal goals. She also worked with the athletes to identify challenges and develop solutions for their success.

Since June 2021, Hubster was the site supervisor for the Crown Point Learn to Swim Program, performing swim tests and helping with individual swim plans for each student. She has over 10 years of experience teaching people how to swim.

Hubster graduated from Indiana University Northwest in Gary, Ind., with her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in December 2023. Her sister Ava Hubster is entering her sophomore year at Regis College after earning All-GNAC honors at the 2024 GNAC Swimming and Diving Championships.
