WESTON, Mass. – The Regis College women's swimming and diving team posted numerous season and personal-best times Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6-7, as the Pride welcomed Keene State and Gordon College to the Regis Pool for the Regis Invitational.
Friday night, Izzy Serrecchia (Woburn, Mass.) earned a new personal best in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 49.68, improving from her previous best of 53.22. Olivia Luhnau (Castle Rock, Colo.) earned a first-place finish in the 100-yard IM on Friday, with a time of 1:06.41, while clinching another first-place spot on Saturday for the 100 yard freestyle at 58:02. Luhnau also competed in the 50-yard breast with a time of 33.69, just thirty-four hundredths of a second behind Emma Lippiat of Gordon College.
Kali Taylor (Brattleboro, Vt.) earned a new personal best on Friday, competing in the 50-yard freestyle compiling a 27.10 finish while Sophia Nylin (Malden, Mass.) finished the 50-yard freestyle with a new personal best of 29.75.
Regis College returns to competition after the holiday break, facing Albertus Magnus in New Haven on Friday, Jan. 10, starting at 6:00 p.m.
