BABSON PARK, Mass. - The Regis College swimming and diving team lost to Babson College Saturday afternoon in a dual meet held at the Morse Pool.
The Beavers won all 26 events as the Babson men defeated the Regis men, 183-30, while the Babson women earned a 141-39 victory over the Regis women. The best individual finishes for the Pride came in the diving events, as Liam Austin (Boston, Mass.) finished second in both three-meter diving with a score of 159.65 and one-meter diving with a score of 219.00.
In the swimming events, Olivia Luhnau (Castle Rock, Colo.) finished third in both the 50 freestyle at 26.85 seconds and the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:08.62. Riley Aptt (Woburn, Mass.) placed third in the 200 individual medley in 2:38.58 and the 100 butterfly.
On the men's side, Aryaman Nagaraj (Watertown, Mass.) finished third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 53.97 seconds.
Regis College heads to Willimantic, Conn., to face Eastern Connecticut State and UMass Dartmouth next Saturday, Oct. 19, starting at 1 p.m.
