BOWEN NAMED TO GNAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL

WESTON, Mass. – Junior Haley Bowen (Litchfield, N.H.) of the Regis College women's swimming and diving team has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly Honor Roll, it was announced by the league's offices on Monday morning. Bowen helped lead the Pride to a 12th place finish out of 20 teams at the NEISDA Championships this past weekend at the University of Rhode Island.

Bowen set three new Regis College records and qualified for the ECAC Championships in two events. She broke school records in the 200 yard Breast (2:31.11) and 100 yard Breast (1:09.79), while qualifying for the ECAC's in both races. The junior added an eighth place finish and set a new school record in the 50 yard Breast (32.32).

Bowen also teamed up with Stacy Burns (Waltham, Mass.), Amanda Iandoli (Mansfield, Mass.), and Megan Kennelly (Milford, Mass.) in the 800 yard Free Relay, which took a ninth place finish at the Championships with a time of 8:57.22.

After a weekend off, Bowen and the other qualifying members of the Pride will compete at the ECAC Championships at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. on Feb. 28, March 1 & 2.
