SATURDAY'S BASKETBALL DOUBLE-HEADER MOVED TO MONDAY

WESTON, Mass. - Due to the impending blizzard this weekend, the men's and women's basketball games, orginally scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, have been moved to the evening of Monday, February 11. The women's game against Becker College will now be played at 6:00 p.m., while the men's game against Becker will begin at 8:00 p.m.

The games mark the second meetings between both schools this season. Earlier this year, the Pride women defeated the Hawks, 77-37. Sophomore guard Emilee Marro (Bedford, N.H.) led the way for Regis, scoring 17 points, grabbing five rebounds and adding five assists. Janaya Bradley (New Haven, Conn.) also pitched in with 16 points, shooting eight-of-twelve from the field.

On the men's side, Becker escaped with a close 58-54 victory over Regis on January 12. Sophomore guard Osanto Marc (Kissimmee, Fla.) led Regis to the near victory, with a game-high 14 points, shooting five-of-ten from the floor, while classmate Evin Matted (Hartford, Conn.) contributed with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.

The women's team is in first place of the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) with a perfect 14-0 record, 17-4 overall. The men, who are 7-14 overall and 7-5 in league play, currently sit in third place in the NECC.
