REGIS COLLEGE STILL IN CONFERENCE POSTSEASON HUNT
WESTON, Mass.—Four Regis College women's basketball players tallied double-digits in points as Regis College defeated Nichols College 89-62 Wednesday. Regis' Alex Chace (Easton, Mass./Oliver Ames) and Nichols Jessica Nelson each posted 17 points for their respective teams.

Regis College improved to 14-10 overall, and 8-4 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. Nichols fell to 11-12, and 5-7 in the TCCC.

Sarah McNult and Claire Ramonas (Portland, Maine/Deering) each had 16 total points. McNult also posted 11 rebounds, her first double-double in six games. Freshman Lauren Kimble posted her second highest point total of the year with 15 points. She had 16 earlier in the season.

Nelson's teammate, Ashley Robidoux had 14 total points, and was perfect from the field and free-throw line. Robidoux was 5-of-5 from the field, and 4-of-4 at the charity stripe.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference second ranked scorer Jessica Nelson (North Providence, R.I./North Providence) posted 12 points in the first half, while teammate Ashley Robidoux (Milford, Mass./Milford) had 14 points. Robidoux would also hit a three-pointer to tie the game 34-34.

Brittany White would advance the Regis College lead by four, but following a made free throw by Kristina Lindgren (Sturbridge, Mass./Tantasqua Regional), and a scoreless possession by Regis College helped Nichols pull within two points by halftime.

At the end of the first half Regis College held a 21-13 rebounding advantage, while Nichols held a far better (.609) shooting percentage from the floor. Making 14-of-23 attempts, Nichols was more effective than the respectable 15-for-35 (.429) shooting night Regis College put together.

A 6-0 run by Regis College in the first 3:30 of the second half gave either team the first double-digit lead of the game at 55-44. The Pride would continue its strong offensive production following a three-point basket by sophomore Alex Chace (Easton, Mass./Oliver Ames). She would hit a second trey at 10:40 to give Regis College a 15-point (65-50) lead.

Regis College exploded to a 84-57 lead with less than 4:30 remaining in the second half, and continued its 16-7 that began at the eight minute mark.
