REGIS GOLDEN IN TCCC VICTORY

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Senior guard Jessica Page (Quincy, MA) and junior
guard Caitlin Luquet (Walnut Creek, CA) each scored 14 points as the
Regis women's basketball team posted a 71-45 victory over Western New
England College Tuesday evening (Feb. 9) at the Alumni Healthful Living
Center.

The Pride, who have won seven of its last eight contests, are now 14-8
overall and 8-2 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC).

Junior forward Sarah McNult (Hampstead, NH) added a double-double with
10 points and 13 rebounds Sophomore guard Stephanie Crawford (Rockland,
MA) was the fourth Regis player in double figures with 10 points. She
also pulled down five rebounds, dished out four assists, and had three
steals.

Page grabbed eight rebounds and collected four steals while White also
had five rebounds.

The Pride jumped to an 10-2 lead and never looked back in taking a 35-18
lead at half-time.

Freshman guard Emily Savino (Ellington, CT) led the Golden Bears with 12
points and four rebounds.

Freshman center Elena Radzikowski (Medway, MA) contributed eight points
and six rebounds in a reserve role.

Regis shot 42.4% from the field while holding WNEC to 30.0% Both squads
were terrific at the foul line with the Pride making 78.9% of its foul
shots and the Golden Bears 81.8%.

Western New England College, which fell to 12-8 and 5-5 in the
conference, also held a 42-36 edge off the boards.
