Regis Men’s Lacrosse to Host Military Appreciation Night April 19

WESTON, Mass. - The Regis College men's lacrosse team will join with the Regis College Office of Veterans Affairs to host the 2nd annual Military Appreciation Night Wednesday, April 19, when the Pride play University of Hartford in a non-conference matchup at 6 p.m.

Join us in honoring the men and women who have served their country in the military, as well as those currently in one of the military branches. Veterans connected to the Regis community will be recognized before the announcement of the starting lineups and the playing of the United States National Anthem.

Fans attending Wednesday's game are asked to participate in a clothing drive benefitting the Boston Veteran Affairs office as it collects important necessities to support local veterans in need. Specifically, the VA is requesting socks, underwear, T-shirts, and personal hygiene products. All items collected will be directed to local veterans and their families. A limited number of special T-shirts will be given to those who donate to the clothing drive.

Everyone is welcome to come support the Regis College men's lacrosse team, and the brave military veterans and current personnel serving this country. Roar Pride!
