After a stellar collegiate playing career, Matt Ferrara joins the Regis College volleyball staff as a volunteer assistant coach starting in the 2023-24 academic year.

Ferrara finished his career sixth on the Regis all-time kills list with 464 kills and third on the all-time service aces list with 59 career aces. In 2022, he earned Second Team All-GNAC recognition after leading the team with 262 kills, now fourth-most in a single season in program history. 

Also in 2022, Ferrara received the prestigious Regis-Casserly Award for excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and service, and he was Regis' nominee for the GNAC Man of the Year Award. 

Ferrara graduated from Regis College in May 2022 with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and passed the NCLEX in July 2022. He started working at Beth Israel Lahey in Burlington, Mass. on the orthopedics, neurosurgery, and trauma floor in August 2022. He started nurse practitioner school in September 2022 with a concentration on the family NP track and is set to graduate in December 2024.
